Jimmy Jib Owner operator, Lighting Cameraman Studio, OBs, P.S.C. Camera Supervisor
Having been a broadcast Cameraman for 12 years, I have been lucky enough to work on a diverse and broad spectum of productions.
From Drama to Documentary I have a wealth of experience in many disciplines of camera work. I pride myself on being versatile.
Starting at the Big Breakfast, I trained to become a very competent multi-camera studio and lighting cameraman on both location shoots and outside broadcasts.
Going freelance in 2000, I was lucky enough to get the majority of my work for the BBC, learning to operate Studio Peds and Jimmy jibs to a high standard.
The Jimmy Jib Triangle has changed the way I work, I am more creative than ever before.
The Jimmy Jib is one of the most versatile pieces of kit as not only can it give you up to 40ft high moving aerial shots but can also track along 3 inches off the ground, and of course loads of shots in between.
The Jib proves to be cost effective for any production as the versatility means you can achieve all your shots in a relatively short amount of time.
I have been told I have a good eye for different and creative shots and as a result is always a valuable asset to any production.
From Dick and Dom to Dragons Den I have a wide spectrum of work under my belt, and I apply this knowledge and experience to every production I work on with energy and enthusiasm.
